How to set up Auto Tagging in Google ads
03 January 2022
Do you want to track what ads/keywords sent the users to your website in your Google ads campaign?
I bet you do!
It’s the most effective way to track users visiting your website after clicking your ads. And this gives you the ability to analyse what ads/keywords are sending you the traffic and how well they are converting, i.e. the number of leads you are getting from them.
This way, you can edit the ads, update the keywords to get the best results out of your Google ads campaigns.
You can do this using an in-built feature inside your Google ads account.
Moreover, with auto-tagging enabled, you don’t need to do any manual work as Google handles it automatically.
Here are the steps by step instructions on how to enable Auto-tagging –
– Login to your Google account
– Go to the settings
– Go to the account settings
– Then, you’ll see the option – ‘Auto-tagging’. Click it and tick the box which says, Tag the URL that people click through from my ad.
Click save – once done. That’s it. All done!
