Understanding the power of your subconscious mind

In today’s article, I will talk about, ‘Understanding your subconscious mind”.

As you may already know, our mind is of 2 types –

1. Conscious mind 
2. Subconscious mind

Before I start talking more about the Subconscious mind, let’s talk about the conscious mind first.

What is a conscious mind?

 As the name says, a conscious mind is what we are conscious about. In other words, what we are currently aware of, something we are experiencing right now – “we are in the moment”. 

For example, listening to someone attentively, watching a movie, working/ studying with complete focus, or maybe spending time with our family and friends.

Now let’s talk about the Subconscious mind.

 

What is the Subconscious mind?

Before we go further, let’s do a quick activity together. Let’s meditate – Breathe in, Breathe out. Inhale and exhale. Thank you.

By doing this, you just took the control from your subconscious mind and gave it to your conscious mind. 

When you meditated, you gained control. Later you stop controlling it, and the control goes back to the subconscious mind. 

We use our subconscious mind regularly. It controls our breathing, our heartbeat and other involuntary functions of our body.

But did you know that it can control our entire life? It surely can!

The conscious mind needs the subconscious mind to function properly. You can control your subconscious mind to make it work for you.

It’s a powerful tool that you can use to generate powerful results: money, happiness and success. 

 The subconscious mind is where we store all of our learnings, but it’s also where we store our fears, insecurities and doubts. That is why we need to learn how to control it.

It will give you the power to achieve any goal you set your mind to and more.

 

Now let’s talk about how to use your subconscious mind to achieve desired results

 

– Stay conscious about your thoughts.

– Always think positive and avoid negative self-talk.

– When you set an important goal that you want to achieve, then say to yourself with belief, that I will do it, instead of I will try”. Then your subconscious mind will automatically work to find ways on how to make it happen.

As mentioned earlier, the only condition is you should say with belief. If you genuinely wish for something and honestly believe in it, it will surely come true. 

Here is the quote from ‘Joseph Murphy’ – “Change your thoughts, and you change your destiny”.

It reminds me of a powerful quote by Napoleon Hill from his book, Think and Grow Rich, which says, “Both Poverty and Riches are the offspring of Thought”.

 

Call to action – 

Concentrate on your thoughts. Don’t let negative thoughts enter your mind – never! Yes, it’s not so easy, but with practice, we can perfect it.

 Dominate your mind with positive thoughts, and you will see the magic will happen.
